The 26-man roster for the competition will be revealed at 11:00 am at the Multichoice office in Accra, according to a tweet from the FA.

Reports from local journalists have mooted some of the players who will be dropped, with Joseph Paintsil, Majeed Ashimeru and Jeffrey Schlupp believed to be among those axed. Gyan’s post on Twitter didn’t specify what or who exactly he was targeting, as he wrote: “We are our own enemies. SMH. Oh Dabi Dabi.”

He said at the time that Ashimeru should have been on the team since only Thomas Partey was superior than him.
“After @Thomaspartey22, this guy @MajeedAshimeru is the best midfielder in Ghana, PERIOD. I have been silent, but this nonsense has to end. The former Sunderland striker yelled on Twitter, “Smh.
