On Monday, November 21, gunfire killed Britney Boateng, a musician from Ghana who lived and worked in the US.

This allegedly happened after a physical argument between Tyona Dodson, 41, and Britney, 22, in the East Side of Columbus.

The incident took place in the early hours of the morning, according to Colombus Division police.
According to the police, they were called to the home at around 1:00 am and discovered Britney there suffering from a gunshot wound.

The musician was then immediately proclaimed dead.
Tyona Dodson is being held by police after being charged with murder.
She is due to appear in court for the first time.
