The group stage draw for this year’s Champions League was completed on Thursday in Istanbul, Turkey, and Barcelona will play Bayern Munich.
Robert Lewandowski will play for Barcelona against his previous team after they were defeated 8-2 by the Bundesliga champions in the 2019–20 quarterfinals. Erling Haaland, a member of Manchester City, will return to his former club, Borussia Dortmund, in Group G.
The Eredivisie champions Ajax, Europa League champions Eintracht Frankfurt, and Serie A champions AC Milan would all be opponents for Premier League teams Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, and Chelsea in groups A, D, and E, respectively.
