There is no blueprint and formula for identifying football talents in Ghana – Faisal Chibsah

According to FIFA High-Performance Specialist Faisal Chibsah, finding potential in Ghana is a challenging process because there is no set formula for it.

Abedi Ayew Pele, Mohammed Polo, Asamoah Gyan, and Mohammed are just a few of the outstanding players who were produced in Ghana in the past and present.

Most often, those who went on to see these players at the top were the ones who noticed these qualities.

Chibsah claimed in an exclusive interview with JoySports that clubs in Ghana lack the technical know-how to recognize talent because of the country’s atmosphere.

“Identifying talent is an extremely challenging task. It doesn’t seem simple to me. There isn’t a recipe or blueprint for that, in my opinion, he declared.

The key is to integrate your club ideology with your talent identification philosophy while also teaching scouts, according to what you believe in. I don’t believe there is a single way to go about it, but if you educate yourself on the environment, it gets a little bit simpler.

“At the conclusion, you’re going to look at a child right now and forecast the child’s future. It’s hard to forecast the future of a child who has five or ten years of life ahead of him since I don’t even know what tomorrow will bring for me. Consequently, it’s a challenging task.

“But once you have structures, policies, and a lot of education in that setting, you’ll feel safe saying that this kid might someday rank among the greatest in the world,” the speaker said.
