The Tafo Government Hospital in Kumasi, Ashanti Region, has refuted reports that a student nurse at the institution turned into a crocodile.
It comes following reports that a pregnant staff nurse died when a student nurse turned into a green reptile.
According to accounts, the pregnant nurse had sent the student nurse to get gari and beans for her.
When the pregnant nurse returned from the trip with the food, she was enraged that the student had ignored her directions to buy the beans and rained obscenities on her.
The student nurse, on the other hand, was upset by the staff nurse’s behavior and walked inside the nurses’ quarters to sit.
She is said to have transformed into a crocodile as soon as the pregnant nurse entered the room, causing her to pass out.
After the claimed occurrence, the staff nurse was taken to the hospital for several days.
In a statement signed by the Medical Superintendent, Dr Kwame Agyeman, the hospital said that no such incidence occurred at the facility.
“We would want to tell the general public that the report is untrue and that no such occurrence occurred at the hospital.”
