Stonebwoy thrills patrons at Google Staff UK closing ceremony of Black History Month

Last night, at the Google Staff Closing Ceremony for Black History Month in the United Kingdom, Ghanaian international musician Stonebwoy gave yet another outstanding performance.

The multi-award-winning musician created an enchanting, immersive performance to cap off this year’s events, setting the tone in the auditorium.

He was also joined by some of the biggest musical acts in the world that evening to thrill the audience, most notably Nigeria’s Adekunle Gold, who demonstrated to the crowds how to properly close a performance.

The international superstar has demonstrated beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is the master of stage performances, as evidenced by his headlining appearances at festivals like SummerJam, Reggae Sundance, Global Citizen, Afropunk, Uppsala Reggae, Afrobeats, and his Ashaiman  To The World Festival, and Bhim Concert.

The Black community in the UK has a chance to learn about, consider, and celebrate the significance of Black heritage and culture as part of the Google UK Black History Month celebration.

To support the value of understanding our common past, Google Arts & Culture launched over 80 new stories last year in partnership with a variety of cultural partners throughout the UK.

Through his conscious and empowering music, as well as his unique and inventive live performances, the Universal Music Group/Def Jam signed singer continues to enjoy widespread acclaim. His music has an impact on reggae, dancehall, and afrobeats culture.
