Following their 2020 squabble, the two Ghanaian celebrities reunited in France this month. During a practice session for Sarkodie’s “Black Love” virtual concert in August 2020, the dancehall act allegedly assaulted the rapper’s manager.
Both acts voiced dissatisfaction with how their miscommunication was handled. The duo, who are also high school classmates, haven’t been on speaking terms since then, but their strained friendship has been healed.
Sarkodie and Stonebwoy played at the ‘Memphis In May’ performance in the United States after meeting in France for the ‘Accra In Paris’ gig. Sarkodie and his manager, Angel, were also photographed dancing to Stonebwoy’s performance during his set.
“We be okay o,” Stonebwoy stated on Hitz FM when asked about his restored connection with Sarkodie. We’re OK right now. As for me, I’m not interested. Even in Memphis, we were relaxing.”
“The fact is that we are hip,” said the Ghanaian dancehall musician, who recently signed a deal with Def Jam Records. Wahala does not exist.”
