Samini releases ‘Win Africa, Win’ after calling World Cup song for Ghana Blacks Stars ‘wack’

In support of the Blacks’ players, a number of musicians have released cheer songs. However, it is widely believed that the song isn’t catchy enough to be a World Cup anthem.

Samini, a dancehall performer, raised concern over the song’s caliber and labeled it as “poor.”
Samini argued that the song was unfit to serve as the theme song for the Black Stars’ World Cup football game this year in a series of angry posts on Twitter.
Samini did not name the performers or the song, but he did state that some of them might have done a better job and that it is in no way deserving of being an official Black Stars song.

On Sunday, November 20, the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar, Middle East, officially kicked off.
The senior men’s national team of Ghana, the Black Stars, play Portugal in their opening encounter on November 24th in Group H.
