This year’s GIJ SRC week celebrations kicked off on a very positive note when Royal Dach Pharmaceuticals donated several First Aid boxes and Emergency Health Kits to the institution. Presenting on behalf of Royal Dach Pharmaceuticals were the Corporate Digital Executive, Mr. Theodore Coffie, and the Digital Manager, Mr. Okyere-Baffour.
The Deputy Rector of the school expressed his gratitude at the extension of goodwill from Royal Dach Pharmaceuticals for the first aid boxes in dire need by the school. He noted the importance of such a gesture in this era of Covid-19, where staff and students’ health was of utmost priority to the school.
As the health partners for the week celebrations, Royal Dach Pharmaceuticals was heavily involved in the weeks’ activities which included a health walk from the Ringway campus of GIJ to the Laboma beach. There were also sports activities held at the Accra Academy football grounds, as well as an artistes’ night which was graced by the likes of Kofi Mole and the latest sensation Black Sheriff.

As part of the collaborative efforts by Royal Dach Pharmaceuticals, awards were presented to the winners and runners-up of the Inter-Halls debate. With the Womens’ week following the SRC week, the pageant winners organized as part of the week celebrations will also win some items from Royal Dach Pharmaceuticals.

Other products include the Tea tree oil range, Argan oil range, and HXC hair products.
The first aid boxes were received on behalf of the school by the Deputy Rector, Prof. Eric Opoku Mensah. Also present were Mrs. Rhodalene Amartey, Dean of Students, Mr. Ishmael Nii Lante Lamptey, the GIJ SRC President, Madam Farida Yeboah, Women’s Commissioner, and Mr. Smart Takyi Nixon, Head of Corporate Affairs GIJ SRC
