Due to a shortage of buses, several passengers are delayed at the VIP bus terminal in Accra.
Traveling from Accra to Kumasi and Sunyani are the impacted travelers.
The passengers blame the business owners, saying they should have foreseen the huge demand today [Friday, June 24].
They did, however, add that they would wait at the airport until they were picked up by a bus to take them where they needed to go.
“Once we are here, there is nothing we can do. Since it is safe, we’ll wait for it, one passenger declared.
The terminal’s administration has now placed the responsibility for the current state of affairs on the high cost of gasoline.
According to Ernest Frimpong Manso, general manager of VIP Jeoun Transport, the increased cost of gasoline has made it challenging for the bus to drive from Kumasi to Accra without passengers in order to pick them up.
