NPP flagbearer race: Alan Kyerematen is coming, I’m not an executive so I can say it’ — Hopeson Adorye declares support

Whatever the circumstances, he declared that the NPP would be led by Trade and Industry Minister Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen in the 2024 elections.

On Okay FM in Accra on Saturday, August 6, which Modernghana News was listening to, the former member of parliament for the Kpone Katamansu seat said that Alan Kyerematen’s consistent loyalty to the party for many years was the reason for his affection.

God willing, Alan Kwadwo Kyeremanteng will arrive in 2024. Since 2007, he has been wanting to be the flag carrier. I firmly back him,” he declared.

Alan Kyerematen will receive a resounding majority of the votes from party members in the Ashanti region, he continued, making him the new NPP flagbearer.

“The Ashanti area is the NPP’s beating heart, and we can exploit it to our advantage in every election.” People in the Ashanti region will vote for Alan Kyeremanteng with joy because they are aware of his abilities, he said.

Through its General Secretary, Justin Frimpong Koduah (JFK), the Party warned executives not to publicly support parliamentary and presidential candidates on Friday, August 5.

Hopeson Adorye thinks that because he is not a party executive, he is immune from the party’s rules.
