While the pastor was preaching, suspected armed robbers broke into a Seventh Day Adventist church in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The event happened on Saturday, November 26, 2022, in the late afternoon at the church two streets from from Noord Taxi Rank.
According to Harare Live, the six gunmen pretended to be visitors before pulling their weapons as the service got underway and ordering the pastor and the congregation to sit down.
While the incident was being recorded on camera by the church, the clearly terrified pastor followed the robbers’ orders.
The pastor was preaching when the shooters burst into the church, causing mayhem, about the need for God’s guidance when one needs to pursue an appointment.
The pastor, who was clearly scared, managed to sit down as directed by the attackers, but the footage showed the unidentified males cocking their pistols.
The visibly upset congregation also made noises.
According to local sources, the thieves got away with cellphones, wallets, and tithe money.
