King Promise links up with Didier Drogba, John Terry, others in Qatar

King Promise, a highlife and afrobeat performer, got the chance to dine and drink with several Chelsea legends in Qatar.

King Promise stepped away from the world cup hype to spend some quality time with Didier Drogba, John Terry, and Marcel Desailly.

When the artist saw Brazilian icon Cafu, one of his idols, he was overcome with emotion.

King Promise has always wanted to play with big international stars, but his singing career has taken priority over his passion for the game.

Even though he was unable to play with the greats, he was able to sit at a table in Qatar with them for dinner.

He now has some bragging rights among Ghanaians who have expressed envy over the pictures he posted on Twitter.

King Promise is now in Qatar on a sponsored trip to support the Ghana Black Stars, who defeated South Korea in their first game and are eagerly awaiting their next match.

The Black Stars’ match versus Uruguay on Friday at 3:00 PM will determine which team advances to the elimination round.

Both teams are competing for the spot just behind Portugal, who is now leading Group H for the 2022 World Cup, with three points each for Ghana and Uruguay.
