The performer will now hold the office of Chief Ugonma Empress Gifty.
Following her coronation, Empress Gifty thanked the King and the Igbo Community in Ghana and promised to strive for the development of the entire African continent.
In Ghana, Jim Iyke is given the title of chief.
I’m overjoyed to be a part of history as the Igbo Community in Ghana celebrates its tenth year in power today. The cultural and economic relations between Ghana and Nigeria would consequently be strengthened by this honor. We stand to gain a lot by banding together as Africans, so I would volunteer for this cause because of that,” she conceded.
