Jim Iyke: I have not changed my religion

Many Muslims flocked to social media after viewing the photo to praise and welcome him to the religion.

Jim Iyke, on the other hand, posted a video on social media claiming that the accusation that he has converted to Islam is incorrect.

After a social media user posted, “I heard that the prominent Nollywood actor Jim Iyke had reverted to Islam,” he clarified. Alhamdulillah! Islam, the religion of peace, welcomes you. We cordially invite you to stay with us.”

“ALLOW ME TO QUIETLY ADDRESS THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM AND GO BACK TO WHAT I DO BEST,” he captioned the video he released.

He added that the image was taken from a scene in a yet-to-be-released film that he shot in Ghana.

He has said emphatically that he has no plans to convert from his Christian faith, despite his respect for all religions.

“I just need to address {a} certain rumour that have been making rounds lately. Certain lines cannot be crossed. I made a movie in Ghana about a month ago called ‘Zongo Boy.’

“It {is} about a religion fanatic. Somebody took the pictures from that movie and it ended up in the hands of a random, unscrupulous blogger, and he said that I have converted my faith.
