He has been a great inspiration to me- Akwaboah gives Sarkodie his flowers

The singer spoke on a range of subjects in an interview with 3music’s Culture Daily Squad, including songwriting, his Black Stars song “BRING BACK THE LOVE,” intellectual property to Sarkodie, Highlife, money, and metrics.
Akwaboah was asked if being signed by Sarkodie had made a big difference in his life and he said, “Yes! You see, that’s the part that most people don’t fully understand. People started saying, “Charley you go fit do this thing, why you dey under Sark,” at that moment. That person is ruining your vibe.
“God bless Sark, wherever he is. He has been a huge source of inspiration for me, he continued.
He also mentioned the occasions when he had wished to write fast-paced songs and related how Sarkodie had given him the lifelong advise, “…if you want to do this – the writing of fast-paced songs – it’s fine, I can help you.” Do it! But if you fall, nobody will come and get you.
They don’t call @sarkodie the “landlord” for nothing.
Here’s how @AkwaboahMusic eulogized Obidi & gave him his flowers for teaching him to be himself & not do things for fame.

Sarkodie went on to shoot a video for him, HYE ME BO, after advising Akwaboah not to loose his identity or musical prowess.
And that counsel has been in my thoughts ever since, never lose yourself in the sake of trends, he said in conclusion.
Even after Sarkodie left the label, he still has a lovely relationship with Akwaboah.
