I Don’t Owe Mahama Any Apology- Manasseh Azure Awuni

Investigative journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni has responded to those pushing him to apologize to former president John Dramani Mahama.

The investigative journalist said he does not owe president Mahama any apology in any form he was only doing his work as a good journalist which people believe led to the fall of president Mahama in the 2016 and 2020 elections.

The journalist said people are claiming that most of his stories he reported about the former president John Mahama were not true. Manasseh has stood to defend his work as an investigative journalist.

He used his Facebook page to explain hisselfand defend the documentaries he made during John Mahama’ s time.

He sighted the cases of GYEEDA and SADA as some of his investigative works he did during the time of John Mahama. He said although people claim that those stories do not exist but no one has been able to prove him wrong.

He further stated that Ghanaians made no mistake of voting Mr. Mahama out of office. He was voted out of office because of the state and circumstances that the people were going through.

Ghanaians yearn for change and breath for fresh air

Manasseh wrote on his Facebook page that he thought president Mahama was bad and corrupt leader but he has now seen that Nana Addo is worse when it comes to leadership.

According to Manasseh Azure’ s post former president John Mahama has better chances of winning the 2024 eelection if he contest again simply because president Akufo Addo is not performing well which gives Mahama a greater chance of winning.

He urged president Mahama to leave a better legacy for Ghanaians if he win 2024 elections and not use Nana Addo’ s work as a benchmark.

He urged Ghanaians to stop calling for apology and rather call for a reformed candidate to challenge Ghana.
