Do not rush to become a star – Adjetey Anang advises young talents

Iconic Ghanaian actor Adjetey Anang has advised budding actors and actresses to exercise patience in their quest for fame.

The actor, who has been bringing movies to Ghana’s television screens for almost two decades, revealed that young talent in the film business is in a rush to become famous.

On Friday, June 10, Adjetey Annan told Giovani on TV3’s Showbiz 360 that most aspiring actresses witness Lydia Forson, Nadia Buari, Jackie Appiah, and other prominent actors and want to be like them overnight.

“These days, emerging talent expects to become stars suddenly, but that isn’t how it works,” he said.

Adjetey Anang, proposing a solution, stated that every aspiring artist must be patient enough to go through the process and emerge as honed diamonds.

“Everyone wants to dig for diamonds, but no one wants to dig for them.” “Young performers must be willing to dig until they discover their jewels; it is the only way they can be relevant for a long time,” the actor from “Things We Do For Love” remarked.
