Chris Hughton will best fit Black Stars head coach role – Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe

Following Otto Addo’s departure, Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe has given the association the duty of appointing Chris Hughton as the new Black Stars head coach.

He claims that the former Brighton & Hove Albion manager has the experience required to lead the group as the Black Stars look for new opportunities.

Hughton served as the technical advisor and was a member of the Otto Addo-led technical staff during the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

But Nyaho Tamakloe has urged the Ghana FA to hire Hughton and make sure he is based in the nation in the wake of the former Black Stars midfielder’s departure.

“Given his history, I believe Chris Hughton will be the ideal candidate. He is from Africa, and he also has expertise as a coach and has gotten to know these players, according to the former GFA chairman, who spoke to Graphic Sport.

“If Chris Hughton is hired, he should relocate to Ghana and establish his own local Black Stars to guarantee that they will make up the team’s core. He ought to be capable of developing and coaching strikers for the Black Stars.

Hughton has previously had managerial positions at Newcastle United and Norwich City during his career.
