Chaos at UEW as final year students hold lecturers hostage

Chaos reigns on the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) campus as final-year students kidnap instructors.

The upset pupils reportedly blocked all entrances to the school due to inconsistencies in their exam results.

They assert that the findings as they appear online differ from those that are presented on the university’s notice boards.

The university is ready to take a break, and the students claim that they wanted to know their actual test scores before the break so that the new semester could start.

In order to discuss the matter today, the university administration apparently planned a meeting with level 400 students in particular, however it was never held.

According to Kofi Adjei of Adom News, who was on the scene, the students have sworn not to let anyone leave the school until their complaints are resolved.

He claimed that the cops have begun using tear gas to scatter the throng.
