Black Sherif’s ex-manager loses case in court as Samson Lardy defends the artist

Mr. Shadrack, who claims to have funded the Ghanaian musician, asked the court to enjoin him from playing any of the songs he released while working with him. Unfortunately, the court today dismissed his claim.

The injunction against Black Sherif was dismissed by the Accra High Court (Commercial Division), which is presided over by Her Ladyship Justice Akua Sarpomaa Amoah.

When announcing her decision in the case, Her Ladyship Justice Akua Sarpomaa noted that the injunction would be harmful to the artist if it were to be granted. She concluded her ruling by stating that if the request is allowed, the ariste will suffer severe injustice.

The evidence indicating Black Sherif was no longer obligated by the contract after terminating it, according to the court, has not been contested.

Samson Lardi Anyenini, a renowned Ghanaian broadcaster and attorney, appeared in court on the singer’s behalf. Following the hearing, the Joy FM host thanked the judge and agreed to waive the Plaintiff’s costs.
