After finally earning ‘Artiste of the Year,’ KiDi states that Delay is not denial

KiDi has finally received recognition after almost missing out on the 'Artiste of the Year' title at the 2021 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards to Diana Hamilton.

The Lynx Entertainment singer was named artiste of the year at the year in review, and he didn’t let last year’s heartbreak go to waste.
“Delay is not denial, Glory be to God,” KiDi stated as he accepted his medal on the night. I’d want to express my gratitude to MTN Hitmaker for exposing me to Ghana. Ghana, thank you very much to the media, my fans, my friends, my big guy Zane, and my mother.”
KiDi defeated Black Sherif, King Promise, Kuami Eugene, Sarkodie, and Joe Mettle to win the tournament.

His smash song ‘Touch It’ also won him the Vodafone Most Popular Song and the Reggae/Dancehall Song of the Year awards (Touch It).

He was also named Afrobeats Artiste of the Year and Album of the Year (The Golden Boy).

He reiterated this emotional statement on Twitter earlier this morning.
