A JHS 2 student stabs a 16-year-old student to death In a fight over a boyfriend

During a fight, a 16-year-old student at Nkwadum D/A Junior High School (JHS) in Ankontombra, Western North Region, was stabbed to death.
During a fight about an alleged girlfriend, Afua Kumah was stabbed in the chest by Francisca Hayford, a senior classmate.
According to a source, the alleged boyfriend is a well-known ‘pragya’ rider in the area.

According to Augustine Boah of Adom News, the deceased started the fight after the suspect reportedly cursed her for kidnapping her partner.

The suspect came home in the heat of the moment to get a knife and stab Afua in the chest.

She was taken to the Sefwi Wiaso Government Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Her body has already been placed in the mortuary at the hospital.
Meanwhile, suspect Francisca is being held in police custody at Sehwi Akontombra, where she is collaborating with the investigation.

Akua Safoa, the deceased’s uncontrolled mother, feels her daughter might have lived if she had received care sooner.

 

Madam Safoa’s story was supported by Charles Kwabena Amoako, a medical assistant at the health clinic, who added that she had lost a lot of blood before being carried in.
