A former Black Stars striker is in severe condition after a car accident.

Emmanuel Baffour, a former Ghanaian international, was hurt horribly in a car accident in the US.

According to information acquired by Ghanasoccernet, Baffour was returning from his typical night shift job when the sad tragedy took place.

At this time, the former Ashanti Gold SC attacker is being treated in a Maryland hospital and is in critical condition.

Around 6:30 am on Wednesday, the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue services arrived at the scene of a collision on Briggs Chaney Road and Great Oak Lane in Cloverly.

Three victims were transferred to the hospital, one adult [Baffour] with Priority 1 trauma (life-threatening), and two with Priority 3 trauma, according to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS.

The accident’s exact cause is now unknown, however it appears that the road has been cleared to allow for free flow of traffic.
